Customer service is # 1 here at Fish Lake & all employees must be willing to go the extra mile to make our customer feel welcome & want to return.

Teamwork is a must here at Fish Lake. We all work together to make sure the customer is satisfied. This is a busy place in the summer & all employees must be willing to step in & help wherever help is needed.

Lodging available for an RV for all employees. Space rent is deducted from your hours worked.

Employee benefits include the use of a fishing boat or canoe (when available) at no charge & one meal when you work a shift of 6 hours or longer.

Short Order Cook:

Experience cook needed for busy cafe, approx 30 + hours per week. Experience required in breakfast, lunch & dinner. Menu includes omelets, eggs, burgers, sandwiches, chicken, prime rib, steaks, Mexican food, Italian food, fish & various other nightly dinner specials.  Cook must be able to stand alone,  NO PREP COOKS please.

Personality & appearance is important as the cook works behind the counter seating in view of the customers. Must be versatile & willing to assist waitress when busy as well as bus tables & wash dishes occasionally.

Wages vary by experience. Cook shares tips 50/50 with the wait staff.

Server positions:

Must be 18.  Required to have or be able to obtain a Food Handler Card & an OLCC Server card.

2 positions available for cafe servers, aprox 30 + hours per week. Must be willing to work weekends & holidays. No time off given in the summer. Experience preferred, but willing to train. Most important is that you are a people person, a hard worker & willing to do whatever it takes to make the customer happy.

Job duties entail, waiting on customers, making milk shakes, busing tables, doing dishes, assisting cook with prep, cleaning & prep of work area daily, deep cleaning of entire area weekly, some phone answering & cashiering.

Store clerk:

Experience preferred, but willing to train. Strong math skills are required. This is a challenging position & you must be able to multi task well. The store is a very busy place. You will be answering the phone & waiting on counter customers simultaneously.

Must be comfortable with a computer & have fast keyboard skills. Your job will entail taking reservations & entering them on a computer reservation program as well as selling fishing licenses on a computer program.

Job duties will include cashiering, answering the phones, taking reservations, cleaning the store & lodge weekly, taking store inventory, stocking of shelves, replenishing of literature in racks, assisting waitress in handing out menus, busing tables & dishwashing when necessary.

Housekeeper:

Hours vary weekly on this job. Sunday afternoons & Mondays are required, usually Thursdays & Fridays also. Other hours vary depending on cabin check out schedule.

Job duties include: doing laundry, keeping the laundry room clean & organized, cleaning bathrooms (both in cabins & public), changing linens, washing dishes, mopping floors, sweeping outside decks, washing down woodwork & windows, cleaning fireplace, basic dusting & vacuuming. You must be detail orientated & a self starter.

This job will be approx 20 hours weekly during busy season, may be more or less some weeks. However, if you are interested, there may be other jobs outside on the resort that will provide you with extra hours. Those jobs will vary depending on experience & willingness to work.

Hours vary completely for this job. Looking for somebody who wants a place to live & a small income after lodging costs. Carpentry & mechanical skills are a plus. This is a great job for a retired individual who wants to keep busy, have free time & likes to fish.
